Founding Story
Founded in 2012 by Sanjay Menon and Ben Hooper, Terry Student Consulting (TSC) was established to bridge the gap between students' interests in business problem-solving and the needs of local businesses for strategic improvement. TSC provides UGA students with the opportunity to work in dynamic teams to help professional clients based in Athens and Atlanta to address their needs and improve their businesses.

TSC is distinguished on campus for its dual emphasis on interview preparation and practical consulting experience. Our organization has partnered with a diverse array of small-to-medium-sized businesses across various industries to provide pro bono consulting services, offering members invaluable opportunities to flex their business skills in real-life applications.

Organization Structure
TSC members fill one of two different consultant roles: Associate Consultant and Engagement Leader. Additionally, the leadership team oversees all organization functions, including external affairs, engagements, professional development programs, and communications.
Associate Consultant
Associate Consultants conduct research, analyze data, and develop deliverables. Through this role, you will build strong analytical and problem-solving skills, learn to work in fast-paced teams, and gain practical experience solving real-world business problems.
Engagement Leader
Engagement Leaders act as the project manager, coordinating team roles, liaising with the firm, and ensuring the project stays on track. In this role, you will develop your leadership skills, enhance your ability to manage timelines and deliverables, and gain experience in client communication.
